Picking up where we left off, we are ready for…

July is the warm blanket of summer which brings…

Hurricanes. Hurricane Beryl was in the news at the beginning of July, changing itineraries and setting records no one wants set.

Meghan Trainor was announced as godmother to Royal Caribbean International’s newest Oasis-class ship Utopia of the Seas. Tony B made it on the inaugural cruise and gave us a little ship tour.

13-time World Pizza Champion and undisputed greatest pizza maker in modern history, Chef Tony Gemignani, partnered with Princess Cruises to curate five pizzas. Hint: Tony B reviews them here.

MSC Cruises debuted two brand-new gin and tonic cocktails across its fleet of ships and revealed the most popular drink cruisers choose while onboard.

Carnival Corporation announced an order for three new mega ships to join the fleet. 

August’s long days and warm night makes it the perfect month to cruise…

Royal Caribbean’s CEO Jason Liberty spoke on the second-quarter earnings call about the real possibility of a new “Discovery-class” of smaller ships.

Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Experiences, made a big announcement for Disney Cruise Line at the Walt Disney Company D23 Showcase.

Members of the Dutch environmental group Extinction Rebellion successfully disrupted cruising at the Port of Amsterdam.

Ground was broken at the Port of Galveston to begin construction on the port’s fourth cruise terminal.

Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady debuted at Portsmouth, UK

Norwegian Cruise Line made a big announcement about Norwegian Aqua and revealed the name of the next Prima Plus Class ship. Tony B was in Venice at the request of Norwegian Cruise Line for the news.

In the words of Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables, “I’m so glad I live in a world where there is cruising.” Or maybe it’s Octobers. Anyway…

Norwegian Cruise Line began offering MORE

Carnival Cruise Line announced it will be adding two new ships to its fleet in March 2025.

September and October were marked with news of Hurricanes Helene and Milton and the destruction they caused. In an effort raise money to aide in rebuilding efforts, Carnival Cruise Line’s Christine Duffy agreed to tandem skydive. She raised more than $85,000 to help those impacted.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings also donated a combined total of $80,000 to the American Red Cross to aid in hurricane relief.

Carnival Cruise Line now has four ships homeporting from Galveston, Texas.

Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany delivered Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Treasure six days early!

Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Breakaway are getting major updates at the beginning of 2025.

Santa welcomed Carnival Venezia for her debut from Port Canaveral, Florida.
