Holland America Line’s Pinnacle Grill Debuts a New, Refreshed Menu

Holland America Line is debuting a new and refreshed menu–with a regional twist–at its exceptional steakhouse, Pinnacle Grill. The new menu will offer a variety of seafood, chicken, lamb and vegetarian options while still highlighting its premier collection of Prime steaks.

Still at the core of the menu will be signature dishes from renowned Chef David Burke. However, guests will now find a “rotating selection of regional dishes prepared with local ingredients and locally sourced fresh fish.” Each dish will highlight the culinary flavors of the destination.

“The new Pinnacle Grill menu beautifully marries our classic steakhouse tradition with vibrant regional flavors and the freshest seafood,” said Michael Stendebach, Holland America Line’s vice president of food, beverage and rooms divisions. “This enhancement is designed to offer our guests an extraordinary dining experience that reflects the diverse culinary landscapes of our destinations. We kept many of our most popular dishes on the menu and are excited to introduce an array of new options.”

Pinnacle Grill’s updated menu will continue to feature popular appetizers like David Burke’s Clothesline Candied Bacon, the Steakhouse Wedge Salad, Vine Ripened Beefsteak Tomato Salad, Shrimp Cocktail, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Lobster Bisque and Ossetra Malossol Caviar.

Steak lovers will enjoy entrees like David Burke’s Braised Beef Short Ribs with Chow Fun Noodles, Filet Mignon, New York Strip and Boneless Rib Eye. The menu also offers other entrees such as Grilled Lamb Chops, Honey-Lemon Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, Panko Fried Stuffed Mushrooms and Dover Sole. All entrees will still be served with family-style sides.

Whether guests are sailing in Australia, Alaska, Asia, Canada/New England, the Caribbean, Hawaii and the South Pacific, Mexico, Northern or Southern Europe, or South America, Holland America Line’s Pinnacle Grill will be serving up the best culinary flavors the region has to offer. It is not just appetizers and entrees but desserts from the region will also be offered.

Additionally, the steakhouse’s refreshed menu will include beverages which are inspired by the tastes, flavors, and ingredients of the location. Renowned mixologists Sam Ross, Tess Posthumus, Ivy Mix, David Wondrich and Jeff “Beachbum” Berry will craft cocktails in the Alaskan wilderness, Europe, throughout Mexico and Latin America, the Caribbean, and in the South Pacific and Hawaiian Islands respectively. Guests will also find local wines featured on the menu.

Pinnacle Grill will offer a lunch menu that allows guests a “taste” of the nightly menu. The lightened lunch menu, which is available on Sea days, includes many menu favorites like David Burke appetizers, premium steak options, chicken, lamb chops, vegetarian dishes and more.
