The leader in ultra-luxury cruising and expedition travel, Seabourn, is offering incredible opportunities to explore Asia in the late 2024 and 2025 cruise seasons. Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest will embark on an amazing series of voyages throughout Southeast Asia and Japan from December 2024 to March 2025, and again in November 2025.

Seabourn Encore will sail her winter 2025 and spring 2025 seasons in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines providing guests the opportunity to experience the diversity of landscapes, cultures, and histories the region offers. She will embark on seven voyages of 13 or 14 days between Singapore and Hong Kong, China. Each itinerary will feature Caviar in the Surf experience in Koh Kood, Thailand and an overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Seabourn Encore will sail one 14-day Southeast Asia & Japan voyage on March 2, 2025. She will embark from Singapore and sail to Kobe, Japan with a new port of call in Tokushima, Japan. The itinerary will also include an overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and maiden calls in Kochi, Japan and Kobe, Japan.
Seabourn Encore will finish out her season by sailing a 25-day Japan & Hawaiian Islands Pacific Crossing from Kobe, Japan to Long Beach, California. Highlights of the sailing include a maiden call to Wakayama, Japan and the ship’s first ever visit to the United States.
Seabourn Quest will sail from March to April 2025 and offer 14- to 34-day itineraries with the opportunity to combine sailings for a truly immersive voyage throughout Asia. Guests will explore the islands of Japan during the height of cherry blossom season while soaking in the nation’s geography, history and beauty. She will then offer a 20-day “Pacific Passage: Golden Week to Glacier Bay” sailing in April 2025. The itinerary will feature “Golden Week” in Japan where guests will experience the beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom before taking in the scenery and wildlife of Alaska where she will spend her summer season.
In the fall of 2025, Seabourn Quest will return to Japan for the country’s breathtaking autumn scenery. From September to November 2025, she will sail four 12- to 41-day itineraries that will visit more than 20 destinations throughout Japan’s four main islands and smaller southern islands. Seabourn Quest will make maiden calls to Akita, Ishinomaki, Niigata, and Wakayama.
Both ships will offer Seabourn Conversations with renowned speakers, Jim Laurie or Ann Cleeves, on specific voyages. Seabourn Quest is also offering two new shore excursions–Very Best of Kobe and Hiroshige Museum & Tea Ceremony.
The Very Best of Kobe is a full-day tour that includes the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Himeji Castle, Koko-en Garden and the Kiku-Masamune Sake Brewery Museum. The Hiroshige Museum & Tea Ceremony is a half-day tour that features traditional Japanese ukiyo-e art and a traditional Japanese tea ceremony at the Miyuki-tei house followed by a scenic walk through Miho-no-Matsubara pine grove which provides views of Mount Fuji.
