The very first “Love Boat” is homeporting from Port Canaveral. Princess Cruises Caribbean Princess arrived at the Port on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 to offer 4- to 14-day sailings to the Caribbean and Central America.

John Murray, Port Canaveral CEO. “We’re proud to welcome home Caribbean Princess, as she is a perfect addition to this market providing cruise guests with even more attractive and varied cruise options departing from Port Canaveral.”
On hand to celebrate the arrival of Caribbean Princess were Canaveral Port Authority Commissioner Kevin Markey, Caribbean Princess Captain Vincenzo Lubrano Lobianco and Princess Cruises’ Head of Communications Vicki Johnson. The executives gathered in the ship’s Piazza and participated in the traditional maritime plaque exchange.

In support of the local community, Princess donated two pallets of food to the South Brevard Sharing Center–a local food pantry–ensuring more local families will receive needed assistance.
Caribbean Princess set sail on her inaugural 4-night Thanksgiving cruise to Grand Turk. Once she returns on December 1, 2024, Caribbean Princess will offer a diverse schedule of Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises ranging from 6- to 8-nights which can be combined for a 14-day cruise.
Guests who sail on the 3,140-passenger ship can enjoy all the amenities and features of the vessel including the Medallion class technology that is a Princess Cruises trademark.
