Carnival Venezia arrived at Port Canaveral, Florida early Wednesday morning, December 18, 2024. She finished a 12-night Carnival Journeys sailing from New York that called on the US Virgin Islands, Aruba, Curacao and Grand Turk before her big debut in Florida.
She will begin a series of seasonal cruises throughout The Bahamas, Caribbean and Mexico from Port Canaveral. With the arrival of Carnival Venezia, Carnival Cruise Line became the first (and only) cruise line to sail five ships from Port Canaveral. Port executives and Santa welcomed the vessel with the traditional plaque exchange ceremony.

Offering her guests the new “Carnival Fun Italian Style” experience. Carnival Venezia kicked off the season with a 4-day Bahamas getaway. After her inaugural sailing from the port, she will sail a 15-week long schedule of Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises and two 14-day Carnival Journeys cruises.

Carnival Venezia joins Mardi Gras, Carnival Visa, Carnival Glory and Carnival Freedom at Port Canaveral. Between the five ships, cruisers can choose from 3- and 4-day Bahama getaways to 5- to 8-day sailings or even longer Carnival Journeys cruises. However, if cruisers choose to sail Carnival Venezia, they will enjoy not only the signature venues they already know and love, but also the ship’s new Fun Italian Style dining and beverage venues as well as her Italian decor and flair.
Carnival Venezia will homeport from Port Canaveral through May 11, 2025 when she embarks on an 11-day repositioning cruise to New York City. She will then continue to sail seasonally from New York City and Port Canaveral.
