MSC Cruises Debuts Two New Cocktails

Known for its authentic food and drink experiences, MSC Cruises has debuted two brand-new gin and tonic cocktails across its fleet of ships and revealed the most popular drinks cruisers choose while onboard.

First are the Gin & Tonics–the Cocktail of the Moment. The “Jasmine & Rose G&T” features Bloom pink gin, real rose petals and jasmine flowers and is garnished with dehydrated grapefruit and fresh rosemary. It creates a smooth taste with a touch of sweetness.

The second new cocktail is the “Skinny Lemongrass & Ginger G&T.” This cocktail is made with Whitley Neill lemongrass and ginger gin, Fever-Tree aromatic tonic, fresh lime juice and honey syrup. It is then garnished with dehydrated lemon and fresh ginger.

The “Elderflower GT” and the “Passion Fruit 0.0 GT” are also popular among MSC cruisers. The “Elderflower GT” combines fruity and floral with BUSS N°509 Elderflower Gin, Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic, dehydrated orange peel, a cinnamon stick and cloves. The “Passion Fruit 0.0 GT” is an alcohol-free option that combines BUSS N°509 passion fruit 0.0 gin, passion fruit puree, lemon juice, Fever-Tree light tonic, dehydrated lemon, passion fruit and coriander seeds.

Timeless Classics that remain onboard are the Italian classic Aperol Spritz, margaritas, piña coladas, strawberry daiquiris, and mojitos. Also onboard are many variations of these summer cocktails and various alcohol-free options. Guests can also take part in whisky, gin, vodka or rum tastings as well as cocktail demonstrations.

Onboard MSC Euribia, guests can enjoy an immersive digital experience at the Helios Wine Bar. The Gin Project can be found onboard MSC World Europa where guests will find more than 70 craft gins. MSC Virtuosa features Rob, the first-ever humanoid robotic bartender at sea at the MSC Starship Club. MSC World Europa is also home to the Masters of the Sea microbrewery where beer enthusiasts can enjoy beer made on board from desalinated seawater.

Additionally, MSC Cruises introduced the “World’s Greatest Bars” program which brings award-winning bars ashore to sea as pop-up bars. The program, which began in April 2024, is bringing the Paradiso pop-up on MSC World Europa and the Sips pop-up on MSC Euribia for the summer.
