This Monday we explored Carnival Cruise Line’s Conquest-Class ships–Carnival Conquest (2002), Carnival Glory (2003), Carnival Valor (2004), Carnival Liberty (2005) and Carnival Freedom (2007). Which have you been on?
Carnival Cruise Line is expecting its busiest summer season yet! Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the cruise line estimates it will host nearly 2 million guests across its 29 ships as they make more than 1,200 visits to almost 100 destinations throughout 15 countries.
Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas officially sailed into open water for the first time. Upon successful completion of her sea trials, she will enter her last phase of construction back at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland. Star of the Seas is expected to debut from Port Canaveral in August 2025.
MSC Cruises announced a major overhaul of its specialty dining program. The three aspects–one menu, one price; flexible customizable dining packages; and a greater value with advanced purchase–are expected to make it more convenient for guests to enjoy gourmet cuisine outside of the main dining room.
Crystal Cruises debuted an original production show, “Club Nights,” aboard Crystal Serenity. The show was so well received, the cruise line will also debut the show aboard Crystal Symphony in late November 2025. The production reveals five different club scenes, each of which showcases its own scenery, costumes and setlist.
Princess Cruises announced its 2026-27 South America and Antarctica season where Majestic Princess will be sailing five itineraries ranging from 15 to 33 days. The 3,650-passenger ship will visit 17 destinations, 10 countries and 10 UNESCO World Heritage sites. She will offer scenic cruising through “one of the most remote and awe-inspiring places on earth.”
