It’s Cruise Ship Monday!
Today brings us Carnival Cruise Line’s Dream-class–Carnival Dream (2009), Carnival Magic (2011), and Carnival Breeze (2012). They weigh in at 130,000 tons, measure 1,004 feet in length, and hold 3,646 to 3,690 passengers at double occupancy.
Some of Carnival Cruise Line’s passenger favorite amenities debuted with the Dream Class. The ropes courses on the top deck of Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic first appeared on Carnival Dream and the 4D thrill theater first appeared on Carnival Breeze.
All three Dream-class ships offer WaterWorks and the Twister Waterslide on their top decks. They have multiple pools and the Serenity adult-only retreat. They feature miniature golf, pickleball, and sports courts for volleyball and basketball.
Step inside and guests will find a Punchline comedy club, piano bar, and a casino offering slots, blackjack, poker and various table games. In the theater, Playlist Productions will bring down the house with its musical productions featuring amazing singers and dancers.
The dining venues are similar to other ships with favorites like Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, steakhouses, and Mongolian Wok on all three ships. Cucina del Capitano is found on Carnival Magic and Carnival Breeze while Pizzeria del Capitano is found on Carnival Magic and Carnival Dream. All three ships offer the Alchemy Bar, RedFrog Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar. Carnival Breeze and Carnival Magic also have the Caribbean-inspired RedFrog Pub.
