MSC Cruises Reveals New Specialty Dining Options

MSC Cruises is making it easier for its guests to enjoy its specialty dining options. The cruise line has announced an overhaul of its specialty dining program making it more convenient for guests to enjoy gourmet cuisine beyond the main dining room.

Georg Schmickler, Senior Vice President On-Board Revenues at MSC Cruises, said: “With increasing demand from our guests for flexibility, transparency, and personalization, this upgrade further strengthens our culinary product, offering today’s cruisers what they expect and deserve.”

The overhaul of the specialty dining program includes three aspects: one menu, one price; flexible, customizable dining packages; and a greater value with advance purchase. The main enhancement is one menu, one price. Guests will be able to select from most of the items on the menu for one fixed price making specialty restaurants more accessible for everyone. The menus will allow guests to choose at least one starter, one main and one dessert for one price. Menus will also offer some dishes for a small charge.

One menu, one price dining is available aboard MSC Bellissima, MSC Euribia, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Seaside, MSC Seascape, MSC Seashore, MSC Virtuosa, MSC World America, and MSC World Europa.

The second enhancement is flexible, customizable dining packages. Guests are able to pre-purchase packages with up to four specialty dining experiences. The packages are flexible and guests can repeat their favorite restaurants with the exception of Butcher’s Cut. With this option, guests have the freedom to create their ideal culinary experience. Lastly, guests who purchase their dining package pre-cruise will enjoy up to 30% savings.

The new flexible, customizable dining packages are offered on MSC Bellissima, MSC Divina, MSC Euribia, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Preziosa, MSC Seaside, MSC Seashore, MSC Seaview, MSC Seascape,  MSC Splendida, MSC Virtuosa, MSC World America, and MSC World Europa.

Stéphane Franchini, MSC Cruises Senior Director of Food and Beverage Product, said: “Simplified single-price menus mean greater transparency for guests, and customizable packages add flexibility to create a seamless dining experience for our guests. With these enhancements, MSC Cruises continues to redefine dining at sea, offering guests an unforgettable gastronomic journey with world-class cuisine and ultimate versatility.”

Guests can enjoy a variety of unique and authentic cuisines from around the world within the 16 especially restaurants MSC Cruises operates. The specialty restaurant packages are available for purchase with more enhancements intended to streamline the purchase and scheduling experiences on the way.
