Margaritaville at Sea Islander is ready to sail next week, and when her first guests board they will find expanded programming including live music spaces, a lounge and arcade for all ages, and a first-ever cornhole-meets-mini-golf course. Islander will also offer four complimentary kid’s clubs for kids and teens games 3 to 17.

Cunard Line’s Queen Anne was named on June 3, 2024 by an untraditional godparent, the entire city of Liverpool. Cunard Line chose five women, all proud Liverpulians, to represent the city of Liverpool and officially name Queen Anne–Spice Girl and author Melanie C, broadcaster and community leader Ngunan Adamu, local restaurant entrepreneur Natalie Haywood, Liverpool music and cultural legend Jayne Casey, and British Olympic heptathlon athlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson.

Carnival Corporation & plc announced that it will absorb P&O Cruises Australia into Carnival Cruise Line in 2025. Two of the three of P&O Cruises Australia ships will be rebranded as Carnival Cruise Line ships bringing the cruise line’s fleet number to 29. Once the realignment is complete, Carnival Cruise Line will have four ships sailing in the South Pacific.

Princess Cruises is the exclusive cruise line partner for the Academy of Country Music. The cruise line will also sponsor a new series at the Academy’s Headquarters in Nashville this summer–ACM Live from the Red Barrel Lounge. Additionally, in August, Princess Cruise Line will support the ACM Honors which celebrates special award honorees, off-camera category winners and the ACM Industry and Studio Recording Awards.

Holland America Line is hosting the June 12, 2024, episode of “Top Chef” onboard Eurodam in the Caribbean. The episode will feature a special guest appearance from the cruise line’s Fresh Fish Ambassador, Chef Masahura Morimoto, who will prepare a meal for the “cheftestants.” The meal will include Halibut XO, a dish specially curated for Holland America Line that is available fleetwide.

Royal Caribbean Group announced its partnership with Inter Miami CF to sponsor six months of coral restoration expeditions with Rescue a Reef. To celebrate World Oceans Day, Royal Caribbean Group, research divers from Rescue a Reef and Inter Miami CF midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi hosted a coral expedition with the University of Miami. Cremaschi, along with Royal Caribbean Group’s head of ESG, Nick Rose, teamed up to dive at the “Royal Caribbean Group Reef” to lay the groundwork for the planting of over 1,000 coral colonies.
