Carnival Cruise Line and Bally’s Corporation, a global leader in gaming and entertainment, have partnered to attract more casino players to “Choose Fun” onboard “America’s Cruise Line.” Bally Reward’s Legend, SuperStar and Star tier members will be offered special events and onboard opportunities as well as be eligible for complimentary and discounted cruises across Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet of ships which sails from more US homeports than any other cruise line. 

MSC Cruises is expanding its kids and family programming for the 2024 summer itineraries. There will be new entertainment and services, expanded hours for kids clubs, new family game shows, and more. One big addition is extended services for babies six months and older which previously was only offered to children 1 year and older. 

MSC Group’s luxury ocean travel brand, Explora Journeys, announced it is the Global Partner of the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup taking place in Barcelona, Spain later this year. Explora Journeys will host the prestigious America’s Cup trophy onboard EXPLORA I allowing guests to immerse themselves in the legacy of the esteemed competition. Additionally, the Explora Journeys logo will be prominently displayed during the racing broadcasts. 

Princess Cruises will sail an extended season to the island nation of Japan and Southeast Asia for the 2025-26 season. Diamond Princess, which was built specifically for the Asian market, will sail 11 new voyages ranging from nine to 22 days, calling on 25 destinations in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. 

In an unprecedented industry first, Royal Caribbean Group announced a Loyalty Status Match program between its three cruise lines–Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea. The new program allows cruisers who are members of Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society, Celebrity Cruises’ Captain’s Club and Silversea’s Venetian Society to enjoy tier status no matter with which brand they are sailing.

Disney Cruise Line’s new private destination, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, is ready to welcome guests. The cruise line welcomed Bahamian government officials and community leaders to its Junkanoo-inspired Goombay Cultural Center to celebrate. The new private destination in the Bahamas will welcome its first cruise passengers when Disney Magic arrives on June 7, 2024.
