Princess Cruises Extends 2025-26 Season in Japan and Asia

Princess Cruises has announced an extended season to the island nation of  Japan and Southeast Asia for the 2025-2026 season. Japan-build Diamond Princess will return to Japan to sail to breathtaking destinations like Mt. Fuji, Kyoto and more while enjoying the beautiful fall foilage.

“We truly make it easy to travel to Japan and Southeast Asia on our Diamond Princess Love Boat to experience these amazing destinations,” said Terry Thornton, chief commercial officer for Princess Cruises. “For our fall 2025 through winter 2026 season, we’re thrilled to expand our Japan cruises from Tokyo (Yokohama) during the beautiful fall foliage season and continue to Singapore to highlight the best of Southeast Asia. Plus, our guests only need to unpack once to experience these storied countries while enjoying vibrant shore excursions and our regional culinary and entertainment offerings onboard.” 

Diamond Princess will sail 11 new voyages which range from nine to 22 days while calling on 25 destinations in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Guests can choose from a 13-day Circle Japan Fall Foliage sailing during the peak of autumn, a 9-day circumnavigation of the country that calls on Nagasaki, Akita and Sakaiminato, a 10-day Kyushu & Korea cruise which called on Hiroshima, Osaka and Mt. Fuji, or a 9-day Southern Islands sailing that called on the southernmost part of Japan including Okinawa and Ishigaki. Guests can also arrange back-to-back sailings for an unforgettable 40-day immersive voyage.

Diamond Princess will then sail to Singapore on a 12-day Southeast Asia & Japan itinerary with calls to Taipei and Hong Kong. She will sail 3 roundtrip Singapore voyages which will feature Phuket, Ho Chi Minh City, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and more. One sailing will feature UNESCO World Heritage Site Halong Bay while another features a late night More Ashore stay in Hong Kong and Shimizu.

Diamond Princess, which was built specifically for the Asian market, features authentic eats and drinks such as Kai Sushi and Japanese-inspired cocktails. Additionally, guests can soak in a traditional Izumi bath and experience Japanese shows, entertainment and holiday celebrations.
