Princess Cruises announced major changes to its dining options across its fleet. Beginning September 14, 2024, the cruise line will begin offering three flexible dining choices in its Main Dining Rooms:  Traditional, Reservable, or Walk-in Anytime. Coupled with Princess Cruises’ exclusive OceanNow, guests can truly eat anytime and anywhere they choose. 

Carnival Cruise Line rolled out enhancements to the GoCCL Navigator for travel advisors last week. The enhancements to the platform streamlined the booking process allowing advisors to be more efficient. The upgraded platform design made GoCCL.com one of the easiest and most accessible booking tools in the industry.

Norwegian Agua is almost here! When she debuts the ship will showcase three new dining experiences–NCL’s first-ever Thai specialty restaurant, Sukhothai; an upscale wine bar, Swirl Wine Bar; and the cruise line’s first venue with a fully plant-based menu, Planterie. She will also feature new designs and enhanced spaces as well as returning fan favorites.

TUI Cruises announced the godmother and christening of its newest ship, Mein Schiff 7. Her godmother, TUI Cruises Environmental Officer Fenia Kalachani, will christen the ship during a 2-day voyage setting sail from Kiel, Germany on June 21, 2024. The naming ceremony is scheduled for June 22, 2024 while the ship is in the Bay of Kiel.

Holland America Line, the industry leader in Alaska cruising, is debuting “Glacier Day” on all six of its shipping sailing the Alaska 2024 season. “Glacier Day” will feature a new set of experiences for its guests including Alaska Up Close presentations, and culinary and drink experiences that will foster a deeper connection to the people, history and culture of the state. 

Congratulations to Christine Duffy on receiving the 2024 Cruise Lines International Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Duffy is the President of the world’s most popular cruise line and oversees Carnival’s fleet of 27 ships which sail from 16  homeports internationally. During her career, Duffy has also been an advocate for women’s leadership in the travel industry helping them advance their careers as well.
