Princess Cruises has revealed its 2026 Canada & New England Season. The season will find Majestic Princess and Sapphire Princess sailing the region together from the ports of New York, Boston and Québec City. They will sail 7- to 10-day voyages with one special 14-day Canada and Colonial America Cruise. The 14-day cruise is designed to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States.
Disney Treasure arrived in Port Canaveral this past week. While traversing the Atlantic, the team tested out seven new ship horn tunes. Some songs were chosen to complement the storytelling found aboard Disney Treasure, while others were chosen to complement the ship’s sense of adventure. Disney Cruise Line has released three of the songs which were tested: “Grim Grinning Ghosts,” “Remember Me,” and “A Whole New World.” The other four songs are being kept under wraps for Treasure’s debut on December 21, 2024.
Holland America Line, leader in Alaska cruising, announced its 2026 Cruisetours which allow guests to combine their Alaska Cruise with a journey into Denali National Park and Canada’s Yukon Territory. The cruise line is offering 18 different itineraries which allow guests to choose if they would like to start on land or sea, explore Canada’s Yukon Territory, view glaciers or wildlife, or experience one of the newest UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Tr’ondëk-Klondike.
Disney Cruise Line announced the godparents of its latest vessel, Disney Treasure. The cruise line has chosen to celebrate the more than 200,000 Cast Members, crew, Imagineers and employees globally and name them all as godparents of the Triton-class Disney Treasure.
Princess Cruises’ newest ship, Sun Princess, is ready to celebrate the “Holidays at Sea.” Princess has “created a lineup of magical holiday experiences you won’t find anywhere else.” Sun Princess’ inaugural holiday season will showcase immersive holiday shows, family activities and holiday traditions for everyone.
Carnival Cruise Line and the Port of Baltimore have entered into a new 5-year contract which goes into effect on January 1, 2025. The contract keeps the world’s largest cruise line in Baltimore for the next five years and includes a five-year renewal option.
