Norwegian Cruise Line has been making some major changes for some of its ships and their itineraries. Sailings aboard Norwegian Getaway were canceled for a full ship charter, Norwegian Sun was redeployed, and 38 cruises between November 2025 and April 2026 aboard Norwegian Jewel, Norwegian Star and Norwegian Dawn were canceled.
Norwegian Cruise Line has now made available for bookings, new itineraries for Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Star. Both ships will be sailing from Tampa for the 2025-26 winter season. The new itineraries are replacing the canceled sailings in South America and Africa.
Norwegian Dawn will begin sailing from Tampa on November 16, 2025 after a transatlantic cruise from Spain. She will offer a series of 7-night cruises through the Western Caribbean. Ports of call will include Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatán, Harvest Caye and Key West. She will also offer 10-night cruises that will include the ports of Cabo Rojo, Aruba, Curaçao, Falmouth and Grand Cayman in the Western and Southern Caribbean.
Norwegian Dawn will also offer 4-night cruises to the cruise line’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, in the Bahamas before she embarks on a 14-night repositioning cruise to Europe in April. Ports of call include Great Stirrup Cay in The Bahamas, Horta and Ponta Delgada in Azores, and Funchal in Madeira before arriving in Lisbon, Portugal.
Norwegian Star will arrive in Tampa on December 5, 2025, following her transatlantic cruise. She will offer a series of 4- to 12-night cruises to the Eastern, Southern, and Western Caribbean and The Bahamas.
Norwegian Star will offer various 4-day sailings. Depending on the date, she will call on Great Stirrup Cay in The Bahamas, Key West or Cozumel. Her 5-day sailings will also include Great Stirrup Cay and Key West. Her 10-day sailings will call on Cabo Rojo, Aruba, Curaçao, Falmouth and Grand Cayman in the Western and Southern Caribbean, while her 12-day sailings will include calls in Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Tortola, Falmouth, and George Town.
At the end of the season, Norwegian Star will reposition to Portugal. Her transatlantic sailing in mid-April 2026 will include Key West, Puerto Plata, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.
Additionally, Norwegian Jewel has been redeployed to Miami to offer cruises to The Bahamas, the Southern Caribbean and Panama Canal, and Norwegian Jade will continue to offer Mexican Riviera cruises from San Diego on the West Coast.
