Mondays have become Cruise Ship Monday. This week highlighted Princess Cruises’ Grand Princess.

The first AIDA Cruises vessel has completed its modernization under its Evolution program. AIDAdiva was outfitted with new technology, upgraded staterooms, new restaurants and more. She celebrated with a special premier cruise throughout the Mediterranean. She will sail two more voyages from Rome/Civitavecchia before heading to her summer home–Warnemünde.

On March 11, 2025, Nassau Cruise Port set another one day record. The port welcomed 30,538 cruise passengers as they disembarked from six different cruise ships. In port that day were MSC Seaside, Disney Dream, and four Royal Caribbean Cruise Line ships – Independence of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, and Utopia of the Seas. 

Princess Cruises has announced the 2.670-passenger Diamond Princess will sail 11 Southeast Asia cruises during the 2026-2027 season. Passengers will sail to some of the most sought after destinations in the region and have the opportunity to visit 17 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

MSC Cruises celebrated milestones for three World Class ships on Thursday. MSC World America was delivered to the cruise line, MSC World Asia celebrated her coin ceremony and the newly named MSC World Atlantic began construction with the ceremonial steel cutting. MSC World America will be officially named by her godmother, Drew Barrymore, on April 9, 2025. 

Virgin Voyages has reported a record-breaking wave season with a 34% increase in bookings and a 45% rise in revenue. The cruise line introduced longer itineraries which reported an increase of more than 50% globally and it has seen a significant increase in web traffic. Keep your eyes on Virgin Voyages as it continues making waves.
