Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady has started her 14-night transatlantic voyage to the United States.
Valiant Lady started her voyage from Barcelona two days ago and her itinerary has included the European ports of Ibiza and Malaga, with another stop in Madeira on Friday. After eight more days at sea, she will arrive in PortMiami just in time for Halloween.
Once in the United States, Valiant Lady will kick off a series of voyages to the Caribbean and the Bahamas beginning with a Halloween-themed Mermaiden cruise departing on October 30. The adults-only cruise will entertain its guests with Halloween events across the ship as she sails the Caribbean.
On the Mermaiden 6-day voyage, the Valiant Lady will call on Roatan, Honduras, Costa Maya, Mexico, and the Bahamas for a day on Bimini Island before returning to Miami, Florida.
The Valiant Lady will remain in PortMiami and offer cruises around the Caribbean through mid-April before returning to Barcelona.
Like the 2021 debuted Scarlet Lady, the Valiant Lady offers adults-only cruises in an “intimate and elevated all-inclusive experience.” The vessel, which holds 2,770 guests, has 20 dining venues and many entertainment choices. One of the highlights is The Manor, a two-story 1970s-style nightclub inspired by Virgin’s heritage in the music business.
The Valiant Lady also features the Red Room, the first transformational multi-form theater at sea. The theater can be transformed into four different venues: a traditional Proscenium stage, an alley stage for fashion shows, a dance floor, and a unique reverse stage setup.
Virgin Voyages not only has the Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady sailing from their brand new terminal in PortMiami, but also has two more ships under construction to debut in 2023—the Resilient Lady and the Brilliant Lady.
