On February 27, 2023, three AIDA cruise ships docked in the port of St. John’s on the Caribbean island of Antigua.
The itineraries of the sister ships, AIDAdiva, AIDAluna and AIDAperla, crossed paths after offering cruises in the Caribbean during the winter cruising season. The exciting and unforgettable event was celebrated by guests, crew members and captains alike.
Captains Panagiotis Mantzavinos of the AIDAdiva, Sven Gärtner of the AIDAluna and Pedro Ziegler of the AIDAperla used the opportunity to meet with one another and catch up. The ships’ crews hosted a party for guests on the pier with music, drinks and even a FitforDrums workshop.
The ships will be parting ways in March. The AIDAdiva is headed to Warnemünde for Scandinavian voyages during the summer season; the AIDAluna is offering cruises to Norway, Sweden and the Arctic Circle from Kiel; and the AIDAperla will home port in Hamburg and sail to Norway’s fjords
