Carnival Cruise Line Brand Ambassador Announces FFS #6

Carnival Cruise Line Ambassador, John Heald, announced the next FFS (For Fun’s Sake) Group Cruise. FFS #6 will be aboard the Carnival Horizon on February 17, 2024.

The eight day FFS cruise is the sixth cruise of its kind and will visit Bonaire, Aruba, La Romana, and Amber Cove. FFS #6 will also feature three Fun Days at sea.

At its inception in 2007, Heald’s FFS Group Cruise was known as a blogger’s cruise in reference to the blog he ran for Carnival. However, due to Heald’s charisma, the group Cruise quickly became a fan favorite.

FFS Group Cruise #6 also promises to be a fan favorite with Heald at the helm. In his Facebook post, Heald mentioned the Carnival Horizon might be a disappointing ship for some, but was the best choice for the sake of space and including as many as possible who wanted to join.

“I had looked at Galveston but the Carnival Jubilee is so popular that there were few open cabins, not enough for our group anyway. I then looked at other home ports including a Panama cruise from Tampa and an Alaskan cruise on the Carnival Luminosa.”

“I know that this would have pleased some, but the majority would have been disappointed. I know I am never going to please everyone with my choice, and to those who I have disappointed, I do apologize.”

“However, I think the itinerary and the ship will provide us with a wonderful time, and it will be the first time I have ever had a cruise formally known as the bloggers cruise on this wonderful vessel.”

While you can book your cruise now, registration to be part of the group will open in August and is expected to sell out. Heald advised fans to book as soon as possible.

While on FFS#6, John Heald will host various activities and guests will be treated to meet and greets and photo ops with the Brand Ambassador.
