Royal Caribbean International has released the first-look at their first adults-only escape on the cruise line’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Hideaway Beach is set to open in January 2024 along with the debut of Icon of the Seas. The all-day experience will feature a private Beach and pools, beverages and dining, cabanas, live music and more.

Hideaway Beach is located on the northwest side of Perfect Day at CocoCay and is the perfect adult tropical vacation for the day. Guests aged 18 and older can pay an entry fee and then kick back, relax and enjoy all the private beach has to offer. Along with the private beach, guests can access two pools, 20 cabanas, seven open-air bars, eating spots and more
Hideaway Beach provides an acre of white sand beaches and turquoise waters. Guests will find loungers and umbrellas alongside the shore and hammocks and swings in the water.
Hideaway Pool offers a swim-up bar and in-water seating and loungers. The heated infinity-edge pool ensures the best spot for picture-perfect views. The swim-up bar, Hideaway Bar, offers two levels and guests can take their drink poolside or never leave the water.
Guests have access to 10 poolside Hideaway Cabanas. Amenities include a mini-fridge, floating beach mats and an attendant at your service.
The Hideout is a cozy nook at the end of Hideaway Beach for those guests looking for a more VIP experience. It is close enough to enjoy the party but exclusive enough to enjoy your own experience. Here guests will find 10 Hideout Cabanas, a heated infinity pool and more.
If you are looking for an alfresco then you will want to check out the new unofficial lookout On the Rocks. Not only can you enjoy live musicians, pool and shuffleboard, but you can also listen to live musicians, watch your favorite sports, or just enjoy the view with a cocktail.
Pizza lovers will enjoy a little Slice of Paradise—a rustic pizza place with a bar and food that features fresh-from-the-oven Bahamian favorites.
Looking for a simple snack? Visit Snack Shack. Here you’ll find the popular menu’s complimentary chicken sandwiches, burgers, fried mozzarella sticks, fresh salads, shaded seating, and Adirondack chairs and tables on the sand.
Finally, there are two full service Beach Bars located on either side of the island.
