All 16 ships in the Princess Cruises fleet have earned the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in the publication’s 2025 Restaurant Awards. This is the second time Princess Cruises has received this prestigious award with 15 Princess main dining rooms being recognized as well as the Sanctuary Collection restaurant aboard Sun Princess.
The award is presented annually by Wine Spectator magazine and focuses on restaurants on land and at sea that offer an exceptional wine list which have been paired with high-quality cuisine. The winners include more than 2,000 restaurants worldwide, but Princess Cruises is the only cruise line to receive awards across its entire fleet. With this recognition, Princess Cruises continues to prove its commitment to its guests by providing exceptional dining at sea.
“At Princess, we believe a well-curated wine list isn’t just about variety – it’s about enhancing flavor and creating harmony at the table,” said Sami Kohen, Vice President of Food and Beverage for Princess Cruises. “This recognition from Wine Spectator reinforces our dedication to offering a wine experience that is rich, diverse, and reflective of the destinations we explore.”
Princess Cruises’ outstanding wine program offers more than 250 labels from wine regions like France, Italy, Argentina and New Zealand. The cruise line also features wines from emerging producers who focus on biodynamic, organic, vegan and sustainable practices. Additionally, Princess Cruises has a dedicated section that celebrates women winemakers.
The cruise line’s wine list appeals not only to expert wine connoisseurs but also casual wine sippers. Detailed descriptions are provided for each wine, allowing guests to easily choose their wine by flavor profile and style. With the curated selection available, each guest will find the perfect wine for their palate.
Princess Cruises also offers the exclusive Love Lines Premium Liquors Collection giving guests the opportunity to enjoy wines and spirits from famous personalities. The collection features celebrity wines like Taraji P. Henson’s beloved Seven Daughters Moscato, Jason Aldean’s Melorosa Sauvignon Blanc and Red Blend, Romero Britto’s Love Prosecco, and Kylie Minogue’s No Alcohol Sparkling Rosé.
