NCL Releases Details About Prima Plus Class Ships

Norwegian Cruise Line revealed details about onboard experiences and expanded spaces available on their Prima Plus Class sister ships Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna. The vessels will debut in April 2025 and 2026, respectively.

The ships will debut with the cruise line’s first-ever Aqua and Luna Game Zone. The expanded space is an evolution of NCL’s Galaxy Pavilion and arcade. Guests will enjoy virtual reality games like Space Racing and Beat Hero as well as retro arcade games such as Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and Down the Clown.

Guests will find a redesigned Bull’s Eye Bar with interactive dart games and a full-service bar. Bull’s Eye Bar will be a complimentary experience with six different interactive dart games available from the beginner to the advanced. The classic dart board game will have video-game-style graphics and automated scoring.

Tee Time, a 12 interactive hole miniature golf game that will be played across two decks, will be available on the sister ships. The area will be themed around the “Wonders of the World.” Finally, because the pickleball enthusiasts asked for it, the Pickleball Court will have its own dedicated space separate from The Stadium.

“We provide our guests with more to do with a variety of fun, exciting and elevated experiences for every type of traveler,” said David J. Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line. “The two sister ships will introduce a brand-new venue to the fleet, the Aqua and Luna Game Zone, along with thoughtfully redesigned spaces and bringing back many more of our best-in-class offerings, beloved by our guests and inspired by their feedback. We look forward to our guests enjoying more of what they love on board and creating unforgettable memories aboard Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna.”

Wellness options will be enhanced as both the Mandara Spa and Salon and Pulse Fitness Center will be redesigned aboard the sister ships. The spa will offer a clay sauna, IV drip therapy and thalassotherapy loungers. Pulse Fitness Center will offer a variety of yoga, Pilates, stretching and more classes as well as a dedicated spin studio. The Thermal Suite will house twice as many heated loungers and guests will find favorites like the charcoal sauna, ice room, salt room and salt flotation pool to melt away stress.

Norwegian Aqua is expected to debut in April 2025 and sail seven-day Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral. She will call on Puerto Plata, Tortola, St. Thomas and Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in The Bahamas. On April 4, 2026, Norwegian Luna is expected to debut in its inaugural Caribbean season from Miami.
