MSC Cruises’ Newest Flagship Reveals New Venues

MSC World America will feature several new venues when it debuts from Miami in April 2025. She will feature a new sports bar, new bar and lounge options, a re-imagined Sweet Temptations, and the cruise line’s first comedy club.

Neil Palomba, Executive Vice President of Operations, MSC Cruises USA, said, “MSC World America offered us a great opportunity to look at the amazing slate of bars and lounges we developed for her sister ship—MSC World Europa—and update them to make sure we’re delivering everything our guests want in the American market. For some venues, we’re overhauling menus with upscale cocktails, more bourbons, gin from craft American distilleries and new American-Style beers to ensure everyone can find what they like. Plus, the fan-favorite Sweet Temptations will be even sweeter. Other venues are entirely new, like The Loft, which brings a comedy club to the fleet for the first time, and the All-Stars Sports Bar, which we believe is easily the best place to watch your favorite team at sea. We can’t wait for our guests to see everything we have in store for them.”

Brand new in MSC World America’s Promenade district will be the All-Stars Sports Bar. The venue will offer sports bar games like interactive darts and digital shuffleboard as well as food, drinks and other sports related activities.

Also new will be The Loft–the cruise line’s first comedy club. The adults-only venue will be situated in the Terraces district and will give guests the opportunity to enjoy comedy shows, karaoke nights and dueling pianos.

The Elixir–Mixology Bar will be the place for cocktails and handcrafted beverages. The venue, which debuted on MSC World Europa, will be found in the Terraces district aboard MSC World America. Guests can enjoy a drink while taking in the ocean views. Additionally, Masters of the Seas, also found in the Terraces district, will offer live music and drink. The British-style pub will brew its own beer on board and offer various signature beers from brewmaster Teo Musso of Baladin Brewery.

Guests will find The Gin Project offering more than 20 craft gins that are mainly sourced from American and Canadian distilleries also in the Terraces district. Guests looking for some of the world’s best coffee beans will want to visit Coffee Emporium. Brewing and serving styles in this venue include French, Italian, Turkish and Moroccan.

Guests looking for that after dinner sweetness or middle of the day ice cream can choose between the enhanced Sweet Temptations or the chocolate lover’s paradise Jean Philippe Chocolat & Café. Sweet Temptations first successfully debuted aboard MSC World Europa, but will receive a new look for MSC World America’s Promenade district. The confectionary serves hand-crafted crazy-shakes, chocolates, candy, frozen yogurt, make-your-own ice cream bars, waffles, donuts and much more. Chocolate lovers will delight in Jean Philippe Chocolat & Café. Here guests can taste candies, create their own chocolate bars and just relax.

MSC World America is currently under construction at Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in France and is the first vessel tailored to the United States market. She will make her debut on April 12, 2025 from PortMiami, Florida. She will sail 7- and 14-night roundtrip voyages to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Each sailing will include at least one stop at the cruise line’s private island in The Bahamas, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
