Holland America Line celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2023 with two transatlantic crossings and several special events and cruise savings throughout the United States and Europe. They have now announced an “Anniversary Sale” to celebrate its 151st year in business.
From now through April 30, 2024, travelers are being offered discounts of up to 45% on cruise fares across the cruise line’s fleet of 11 ships. On top of discounted cruise fares, travelers can receive up to $300 of onboard credit per stateroom, 50% reduced deposits, and complimentary cruise fares for the third and fourth guests in the same stateroom.
Beth Bodensteiner, chief commercial officer for Holland America Line, said, “As we complete a full year celebrating 150 years as a cruise line, our Anniversary Sale is a way to thank guests for being a part of our history with incredible savings on nearly all of our cruises. Guests appreciate the onboard spending money, while reduced deposits make it easier to plan a vacation that can be more than a year away. Free third and fourth guests is ideal for families and friends looking to travel together.”
The onboard credit of up to $300 per stateroom is based on a traveler’s cabin choice and length of cruise. Included itineraries range from four to 56 days. Onboard credit can be applied to specialty dining, spa services, shore excursions, gift shop choices, and more.
The “Anniversary Sale” discounts can also be combined with the cruise line’s “Have It All” premium fare. Travelers who combine the discounts will also receive complimentary shore excursions, a signature beverage package, specialty dining, and a WiFi package.
The “Anniversary Sale” is available on sailings worldwide. Whether you are looking to explore European history in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, circumnavigate Australia, or want a weekend getaway with your family, Holland America Line is offering a discount on it.
For example, you can explore Alaska on a 7-day Alaska’s Inside passage aboard Koningsdam on June 15, 2024. You can take a 21-day Ultimate Viking Explorer on Nieuw Statendam which sails roundtrip from Amsterdam on August 3, 2024. Perhaps you want to sail the 35-day Australia Circumnavigation on Westerdam on November 17, 2024, or the 14-day Circle Japan on Noordam in 2025. There is a 7-day Mexican Riviera Holiday on Koningsdam in December 2024 and a 7-day Western Caribbean on Nieuw Amsterdam in February 2025.
