Disney Cruise Line has revealed some of the entertainment for its new exclusive private destination, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
The main event will be Rush! A Junkanoo Celebration. The festivities will begin with the call of a conch shell as a local Junkanoo Group lead guests in a colorful parade of dancing and music. Guests will experience the joy of an authentic Junkanoo Rush Out as they are led to the Goombay Cultural Center. Here Mickey and Minnie–in their new attire–as well as Donald and Daisy will join in the dancing and celebration that celebrates the heartbeat of The Bahamas.
Guests will also want to join in the Disney Fun in the Sun Beach Bash at the Play-Play Pavilion. The Disney Fun in the Sun Beach Bash is an interactive Disney style beach party with Disney friends of course. Guests will want to see how low they can go with Goofy’s Good Day Limbo or enjoy a game of Pluto’s Pineapple Ring Toss before cooling off at Chip-n-Dale’s Water Brigade. Guests will enjoy all this and more while listening to all-new renditions of their favorite Disney music and enjoying the crystal clear water and white sand beaches of the island of Eleuthera.
On June 8 2024, Disney Fantasy will sail a round trip 7-night Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Inaugural Cruise from Port Canaveral. After spending a day at sea, the first guests will be welcomed to the exclusive destination on the south end of Eleuthera Island. Guests will enjoy the port of Nassau, Bahamas as well as Disney’s other exclusive destination, Disney Castaway Cay, before returning for another visit to Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, ensuring guests are able to see and do all the new destination has to offer.
With the mashup of Disney entertainment and Bahamian culture, the experience is sure to be magical for cruisers of all ages.
