Princess Cruises announced Diamond Princess will return to Japan with 50 voyages between February and November 2026. Voyages will feature 35 unique itineraries that highlight the cherry blossom season, the fall foliage season and the country’s top five festivals.
Princess Cruises has also announced the adjustment of Sun Princess departure from Barcelona on August 8, 2026 in order to offer more Total Solar Eclipse sailings to its guests. The adjustment to the itinerary allows the ship to be in position off the coast of southern Spain on August 12, 2026 giving guests the opportunity to experience the entire two minutes and 18 seconds of totality.
MSC World America will feature gourmet Italian cuisine–Eataly at Sea–when she debuts in April 2025. Thanks to a partnership between MSC Cruises and Eataly, the world-renowned brand will debut alongside several other new restaurants and casual dining options. In all, MSC World America will feature 19 dining venues.
Holland America Line unveiled its holiday menus to be served during Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s Eve. No matter which holiday you choose to celebrate, you will enjoy festive culinary experiences, complete with carefully crafted cocktails and non-alcoholic coffee options.
Princess Cruises’ Star Princess was floated out this week at the Fincantieri Shipyard in Italy. She will now shift to interior design as she moves toward her September 2025 delivery. She will embark on her inaugural journey on October 4, 2025–an 11-day roundtrip Western Mediterranean voyage from Barcelona.
