Princess Cruises has added a second Total Solar Eclipse cruise itinerary. This one will be aboard its newest ship, Sun Princess. Princess Cruises has adjusted Sun Princess’ August 8, 2026 embarkation from Barcelona, Spain, putting the ship in position off the coast of southern Spain on August 12, 2026, so guests can experience the entire two minutes and 18 seconds of totality.

Sun Princess 2026 Total Solar Eclipse itineraries include six Mediterranean sailings which range from seven- to 21-days and embarking from various popular ports.
- Departing July 25, 2026 from Rome is a 21-day roundtrip Best of the Mediterranean with Total Solar Eclipse
- Departing on August 1, 2026 from Athens and ending in Rome is a 14-day Mediterranean with Total Solar Eclipse
- Also departing on August 1, 2026 from Athens is a roundtrip 21-day Best of the Mediterranean with Total Solar Eclipse.
- Departing from Barcelona on August 8, 2026, and ending in Rome is a 7-day Mediterranean with Total Solar Eclipse
- Also departing from Barcelona on August 8, 2026, but ending in Athens is a 14-day Mediterranean with Total Solar Eclipse
- Finally, departing August 8, 2026 from Barcelona is a roundtrip 21-day Best of Mediterranean with Total Solar Eclipse
The solar eclipse voyages are on sale now and will offer lectures from astronomy experts, solar eclipse themed treats and beverages, stargazing, solar system trivia and the opportunity to gather on the top deck during the eclipse to view the eclipse and its totality safely. Additionally, Sky Princess will be sailing 14-day Total Solar Eclipse Mediterranean cruises roundtrip from Southampton from August 8 to August 22, 2026.
