The Nassau Cruise Port has become the first regional cruise port to join the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program. The program gives individuals with non-visible disabilities a discreet way to express their need for additional support or understanding by wearing a green lanyard, badge or wristband with a yellow sunflower.
Disney Cruise Line revealed some new and classic experiences guests will find aboard Disney Adventure when she debuts in December 2025 from Singapore. New experiences include the Marvel Style Studio, beloved characters from Duffy and Friends and two new stage shows. Younger guests who enjoy the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and tea parties will not be disappointed as the classics will also be onboard.
Royal Caribbean has revealed the name of its third Icon class ship–Legend of the Seas. She will initially debut in the Mediterranean–a first for an Icon class ship–before arriving home to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In another Icon class ship first, her Caribbean itineraries will include the ports of Aruba, Curacao and Falmouth. Each of her sailings will call on the cruise line’s award-winning Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.
MSC Cruises’ MSC World America has successfully completed her final sea trials. She is now undergoing her final outfitting at Chantiers de L’Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France. She will be named at the cruise line’s new cruise terminal at PortMiami on April 9, 2025, before she begins her inaugural season sailing 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean voyages.
Comic-Con: The Cruise Vol. 2: The Ultimate Fan Adventure is open for booking. Guests will sail the 4-night roundtrip voyage aboard Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Constellation from January 30, 2026 through February 3, 2026. The sailing will be a special celebration of the 25th Anniversary of both The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Fans will not want to miss the celebration or any of the comic-con festivities.
Oceania Cruises has expanded its Culinary Discovery Tours by twelve for 2025. The new chef-led gourmet excursions are led by one of Oceania Cruises’ expert chef instructors, and provide access to local markets, restaurants and hands-on cooking classes. Each of the culinary experiences will showcase the local culture and community through the lens of food.
