Carnival Cruise Line is Inviting Guests to be ”First To Know”

Carnival Cruise Line is inviting guests to be the “first to know” information about Carnival Firenze.

As Carnival Cruise Line is preparing to introduce Carnival Firenze to guests and to its fleet, they have set up registration for cruisers to be able to receive updates on the ship’s itinerary and special promotions. Carnival Ferinze, which is the Italian pronunciation of the Cathedral city of Florence, is joining the fleet in spring of 2024 and will sail from Long Beach, California.

Offering cruises year-round and sailing to popular destinations like Baja, California and the Mexican Riviera, Carnival Ferinze is sure to be sought after. Carnival intends to share detailed information about itineraries and onboard offerings soon.

“We embark more guests from California than any other cruise line, and soon Carnival Firenze will provide a great new option for them,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

“When the ship joins our fleet, she’s going to bring our valued guests a new experience that complements our signature fun with the ship’s spectacular Italian atmosphere.”

Once completed, Carnival Firenze will feature Carnival’s new “Carnival Fun Italian Style” that will see its debut in June 2023 with Carnival Venezia in New York. “Carnival Fun Italian Style” will combine Carnival’s signature environment, crew and venues with new creative concepts to include Italian-themed restaurants, bars and entertainment.

When Carnival Cruise Line began rolling our details about these “Carnival Fun Italian Style” ships, Duffy said, “Just like their Carnival sisters, fun will be at the heart of Carnival Venezia and Carnival Firenze, but they will also carry a unique experience – incorporating the spectacular Italian atmosphere and rich culture they embody.”

Carnival Brand Ambassador John Heald via social media stated, “I cannot wait for you to see this stunning ship, which will truly be a wonderful mixture of Italian style, celebrating the architecture of Florence, and of course our own inevitable Fun.”

Carnival Venezia and Carnival Firenze expand the cruise line’s presence in two of its 14 U.S. homeports. While Carnival began sailing from New York in 1998, they have had a West Coast presence since 1979–over 40 years. Carnival embarks more cruisers from California than any of its competitors and with the addition of Carnival Firenze they will not change anytime soon.
