Allure of the Seas will be upgraded as she undergoes more than $100 million in renovations. Cruisers will find a new way to vacation as the renovations will upgrade the more than 35 ways to dine and drink as well as the ship’s thrills and chills all before she embarks on her European season in April 2025.
“From the new Icon and Utopia of the Seas to now the more than $100 million transformation of Allure of the Seas, we’ve upped the ante threefold on the different ways vacationers can get away and make memories with Royal Caribbean,” said Jay Schneider, Chief Product Innovation Officer, Royal Caribbean International. “Allure will be reimagined with the best of Royal Caribbean and what travelers love. Between new favorites, like the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, and experiences that unlock core memories time and time again, from an incredible pool deck to an unmatched combination of thrills and ways to chill, Allure will have even more of everything that makes it a standout favorite.”
The pool deck will be reimagined with resort-style pools as the main attraction with more seating, shade and other amenities. The adults-only Solarium will feature in-pool loungers, the Samba Grill and dedicated bars. Kids and tweens will want to visit Splashaway Bay which will feature slides, water cannons, fountains, pools, whirlpools, two drench buckets. The signature poolside bar, The Lime & Coconut, as well as the fiesta dining venue El Loco Fresh will both be poolside with drinks, food and live music.
After its “standout debut” on Utopia of the Seas, The Pesky Parrot Tiki Bar will be making its way onboard Allure of the Seas. The Caribbean tiki bar will serve refreshing fruit-based cocktails, frozen drinks and other surprises. Kids of all ages will want to have a seat at Playmaker Sports Bar & Arcade to watch live games or play classic arcade games. Currently The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar can only be found on Wonder of the Seas and Utopia of the Seas, but soon the southern comfort food and live country music venue will also be enjoyed on Allure of the Seas.
Those looking for family-friendly fun will enjoy the 10 story high dry slide filled with twists, turns, lights and sounds–Ultimate Abyss, or the Royal Escape Room–Apollo 18: Lunar Landing, or a rousing game of laser tag. After play, guests can enjoy the latest addition to the Wipe Out Bar’s menu–shaved ice. Kids will enjoy a new immersive adventure at Adventure Ocean, while teens will want to check out the new venues at Social298. New 200-degree ocean view Ultimate Panoramic Suites will be added above the ship’s bridge, and several fan favorites are returning such as rock climbing, FlowRider, Schooner Bar, the Bow & Stern English Pub, Giovanni’s Table, Chops Grille, and more.
Allure of the Seas is one of six Royal Caribbean ships sailing in Europe for summer 2025. When she debuts in April 2025, she will sail a 4-night Spain & France voyage and a 5-night France & Italy voyage before she begins sailing her 7-night Western Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona, Spain or Rome, Italy.
