Seabourn Offering Additional Antarctica Expedition

Seabourn is adding an additional Antarctica expedition voyage to its ultra-luxury purpose-built ship, Seabourn Venture. The 11-day voyage embarks on March 10, 2026 and is available to book now.

“Exploring Antarctica in March offers a unique opportunity to witness the stunning landscapes as they transition into winter. This period is ideal for observing peak whale activity, with potential sightings of humpback whales and orcas, along with gentoo penguins and Antarctic fur seals,” said Robin West, Seabourn’s Vice President and General Manager of Expeditions. “Our Antarctica expedition voyages are incredibly popular, and we encourage guests to seize this chance to experience this remarkable continent and learn about the historic voyages of renowned explorers James Weddell, Otto Nordenskjöld, and Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen.”

From November 2025 to March 2026, Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit will offer 11-, 13-, and 21-day sailings to the Great White Continent. The voyages include a pre-cruise charter hotel stay in Buenos Aires and a roundtrip charter flight to the departure port, Ushuaia.

Additionally, each voyage to Antarctica also includes Zodiac outings to cruise among icebergs and to walk and hike with the ship’s Expedition Team as well as optional kayaking and submarine excursions. If the weather allows, guests could visit the Lemaire Channel, Deception Island, and Neko Harbour. Guests will also receive a complimentary Helly Hansen PolarShield parka and WaterShield waterproof backpack.

The Antarctica expedition voyages also offer the new “Image Masters” program. The program offers guests the opportunity to take part in a hands-on photography masterclass. Guests can take part in a workshop that provides in-the-field instruction led by the onboard nature photographer.

Seabourn Venture debuted in 2022 as the cruise line’s first ultra-luxury, purpose-built expedition ship and offers the small ship experience that is expected from Seabourn with the capacity to carry 264 guests. She is equipped with SpaceX’s Starlink WiFi connectivity and offers eight dining venues and all-suite accommodations.
