The debut of Legend of the Seas is quickly approaching, but not before she completes her sea trials which began off the coast of Turku, Finland on Sunday, April 19, 2026. She will spend 10 days on open water in the Baltic Sea having every system tested under real conditions.

Princess Cruises’ Star Princess successfully completed her first-ever transit of the Panama Canal over the weekend. This milestone is not only a major accomplishment for Star Princess but also for Princess Cruises, which was the first cruise line to transit the Panama Canal in 1967.

Luxury cruise brand Cunard announced it will bring all four of its ships together for the first time in Liverpool, England–the cruise line’s spiritual home where the company began in 1840. On May 16, 2028, Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Anne are scheduled to meet up on the River Mersey. 

Holland America Line began its 2026 season in Alaska with the arrival of Eurodam to the Port of Seattle on April 25, 2026. The cruise line has more than 100 voyages planned across six ships throughout the region. 

Princess Cruises will kick off the beginning of its 2026 Alaska season with a “one-night-only” drone show in downtown Seattle on May 1, 2026. The Alaska-themed “choreographed aerial display” will be free to the public and best viewed from Seattle Center’s International Fountain Mall at 305 Harrison Street.
