Holland America Line begins its 2026 season in Alaska with the arrival of Eurodam to the Port of Seattle on April 25, 2026. The cruise line has more than 100 voyages planned across six ships throughout the region.
From April through September, Holland America Line’s Koningsdam, Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam, and Zaandam will offer everything from 7-day voyages to a 28-day Legendary Arctic Circle Solstice. The ships will sound roundtrip from Seattle and Vancouver and between Vancouver and Whittier.
“As the leader in Alaska, we are committed to delivering experiences that are as enriching as they are unforgettable, bringing guests closer to the region in meaningful ways,” said Robert Morgenstern, senior vice president, Alaska Operations at Holland America Line. “From new shore excursions and enhanced programming to our industry-leading fresh fish offerings, every detail of our 2026 season is designed to help guests connect more deeply with Alaska’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.”
Holland America Line will introduce 25 new shore excursions that will bring guests even closer to Alaska’s scenery and wildlife. Some of the options include Adventure to Norris Glacier: Floatplane, Paddle and Hike in Juneau; Exclusive Eland & Friends Moose Discovery in Anchorage; Remote Coastal Rainforest Hike, Gourmet Seafood Picnic & Brewery in Kodiak; and Authentic Alaska: Tongass Rainforest Hike in Sitka.
Holland America Line, who offers more glacier experiences than any other cruise line, will continue its “Glacier Day” programming once per cruise. The programming includes glacier sighting times, scenic commentary, presentations, presentations from Glacier Bay National Park Rangers and Huna cultural interpreters, scenic viewing stations, photographing opportunities, themed food and drinks on deck, and views from an open bow. As a matter of fact, Holland America Line guarantees a glacier visit on every journey.
The cruise line also offers more ways to view wildlife in its natural habitat than any other cruise line. Each ship will have a wildlife expert onboard, as well as a Wildlife Spotting Guide who points out native animals along the cruise route. Holland America Line offers nearly 180 shore excursions offering wilderness tours and allowing guests to see all kinds of Alaskan wildlife.
Holland America Line will also offer cruisetours which range from nine to 17 days and include a visit to Denali National Park or journey into Canada’s Yukon. Onboard guests can enjoy live cooking shows which showcase cooking techniques and Alaska culinary history. They can also attend an Alaska Up Close Talk to learn more about the Last Frontier.
