Cruising is no different. Each cruise line has some kind of loyalty program that offers onboard perks and bonuses–everything from free drinks to free cruises.Today we will cover Celebrity Cruises’ Captain’s Club.
Celebrity Cruises’ Captain’s Club has a six-tiered loyalty system–Preview, Classic, Select, Elite, Elite Plus, and Zenith. Guests are awarded points upon completion of their cruise based on the stateroom category and the length of the cruise, ranging from 2-24 points per night. Let’s take a look at the featured benefits of each tier.
The Preview Tier is awarded upon booking first Celebrity cruise and gives guest access to:
- The Captain’s Club Loyalty Desk Service Center
- A Captain’s Club Newsletter
- Captain’s Club offers when booking a future cruise onboard
- Double Club points for solo travelers in a stateroom
The Classic Tier begins at the end of the first sailing to 149 Club points and adds:
- Exclusive Captain’s Club Welcome Event
- Complimentary scoop of gelato
- One category upgrade through AquaClass
- 10% discount on WiFi package or WiFi Upgrade
- 10% discount on Classic or Premium Drink Package
- 10% discount on Premium Drink Package upgrade
The Select Tier is from 150 to 299 Club points and adds:
- 25% discount on WiFi Package or WiFi upgrade
- 10% discount on laundry services
- 10% multi-use discount at The Spa
The Elite Tier is from 300 to 749 Club points and adds:
- Exclusive continental breakfast
- Elite Cocktail hour
- Complimentary access to Persian Garden
- One complimentary bag of laundry
- 30% discount on WiFi Package or WiFi upgrade
- 15% discount on Classic or Premium Drink Package
- 15% discount on Premium Drink Package upgrade
The Elite Plus Tier is from 750 to 2999 Club points and adds:
- Two bags of complimentary laundry
- 35% discount on WiFi Package or WiFi upgrade
- 20% discount on Classic or Premium Drink Package
- 20% discount on Premium Drink Package upgrade
- 15% discount on specialty dining cover charge
- 15% multi-use discount at The Spa
The Zenith Tier begins at 3000 Club points and adds:
- Access to the Retreat Lounge/Michael’s Club
- Upon reaching Zenith, a complimentary 7-night Caribbean or Bermuda cruise in a veranda stateroom
- Complimentary Premium Drink Package
- Complimentary Premium WiFi
- Complimentary laundry
- 25% discount on specialty dining cover charge
These are the featured benefits and guests will find many more discounts, offers and perks within each loyalty tier. Guests can also earn Club points through the cruise line’s Power Up Points program. The program consists of different activities, which earn points, to complete in the comfort of your own home. Every 10 Power Up Points you earn, you receive 1 Club Point.
Additionally, in June 2024, Royal Caribbean Group, parent company of Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea, announced an industry-first Loyalty Status Match program, allowing guests to enjoy their tier status no matter with which cruise line they are sailing.
