Virgin Voyages Set to Debut Resilient Lady

Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady is just days from her mermaiden voyage and inaugural season in Greece. Her first voyage is a 7-night sailing that begins May 14, 2023.

She will depart from Athens and follow the “Greek Island Glow” itinerary calling on ports in Greece and Turkey. Resilient Lady will visit Santorini and Rhodes. She will stay overnight in Mykonos, Greece giving sailors the opportunity to immerse themselves even more in Grecian culture and experience the charm of the island.  She will also treat sailors to an all day stay in Bodrum, Turkey to experience all that destination has to offer.

“I’m thrilled this day is finally here and that Resilient Lady has officially joined our award-winning fleet,” said Tom McAlpin, CEO of Virgin Voyages. “I know people are going to love voyaging with Resilient Lady as much as they have with Scarlet and Valiant Lady, and I look forward to sharing this five-star experience with even more Sailors this summer.”

Resilient Lady debuts as the third ship in Virgin Voyages’ adults only luxury cruise line. She will spend her summer season sailing from Greece and offering two exciting 7-night itineraries. The first is the “Greek Island Glow” and the second is the “Adriatic Sea Greek Gems.”

The “Adriatic Sea Greek Gems” sailing also departs from Athens but visits Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia, Kotor in Montenegro, and Corfu Island in Greece before returning back to Athens. Each port stop is at least 10 hours giving sailors plenty of time to explore and enjoy each port stop.

Resilient Lady won’t be having all the fun though. Her sister ships will be celebrating her Grecian debut as well. In honor of Greek culinary traditions, there will be an onboard “Opa Hour” on all three Virgin Voyages’ ships that will feature Greek-inspired food and drinks.
