Princess Cruises first Sphere-class ship, Sun Princess, will be home to the largest casino ever built by Princess Cruises when she debuts in February 2024. The cruise line is dedicating 9,000 square feet to the casino which is 50% more space than the cruise line’s Royal Class ships.
The Princess Casino will be located on Deck 8 next to the Piazza, the ship’s atrium. The venue will feature high ceilings and a spacious floor for its 227 slot machines and 13 live game tables. The casino will also include the first-of-its-kind Aristocrat Gaming’s “Buffalo Zone” at sea. Gaming spaces will also be included in the Piazza.

Princess Casino enhancements onboard Sun Princess include 10 foot high ceilings and the newest and most comfortable gaming seating available. There will be 13 live game tables, blackjack and poker table progressives with high value cash awards. Additionally, the venue will feature a high-limit slot machine area.
Sun Princess is still under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. When she debuts she will boast of the most balconies and sun decks on any Princess ship and exciting new entertainment and dining experiences. Sun Princess 10-Day Inaugural Grand Mediterranean voyage will embark on February 8, 2024 from Barcelona, Spain. Her ports of call will include Mallorca, Spain; Messina, Sicily; Athens and Santorini, Greece; Kusadasi, Turkey; and Naples, Italy before arriving in Rome, Italy on Sunday, February 18, 2024. She will remain in the Mediterranean throughout the summer 2024 season and then reposition to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in November 2024 and sail winter Caribbean sailings.
