Princess Cruises Reveals Dining Options Aboard Sun Princess

Princess Cruises has announced they will be elevating the culinary experience at sea with the debut of the cruise line’s first Sphere-class ship, Sun Princess, debuting in February 2024.

The largest-ever ship for Princess Cruises will offer 29 new and signature dining and lounge options with everything from speciality to casual dining—something for every cruiser’s palate.

“Outstanding food and drink at exceptional value are a cornerstone of the Princess experience. Sun Princess elevates the entire portfolio of offers and wraps them in restaurants, bars and sundecks that reveal stunning views, ocean vistas and sunshine, ice and wildlife,” said John Padgett, Princess Cruises president. “Our chefs will serve up vibrant flavors, pour perfectly crafted cocktails and provide personalized service that is second to none.”

Cruisers will have opportunity to experience an array of dining experiences including the introduction of the captivating theater of Japanese Teppanyaki at Umai Teppanyaki, the classic Irish pub concept at O’Malley’s Irish Pub, and a seafood nirvana at The Catch by Rudi from award-winning chef Rudi Sodamin.

If you are looking for a more casual cuisine, The Promenade will be serving slices of Promenade Slice pizza, burgers, hot dogs, bagels and ice cream.

Sun Princess will still have cruisers favorites like Crown Grill, Sabatini’s, Alfredo’s Pizzeria, classic music at Crooners, performances at Princess Live!, and the warm ambiance at Wheelhouse Bar.

The multiple deck dining options offered aboard Sun Princess brings something for everyone. Cruisers can enjoy ethnic food from Mexican to Mongolian, multiple coffee options, sushi, artisan pizzas, barbecue, burgers, hot dogs, and frozen treats.

The Horizons Dining Room promises to elevate the main dining room experience with the view as well as the menu. The stunning three-level main dining room stretches from deck 6 to deck 8 and will offer different dining experiences and degrees of formality. The Horizons Diner in deck 8 will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner options all day.

Sun Princess also offers a new level of suite accommodations. The Signature Collection includes exclusive access to the Signature Restaurant and Signature Lounge. Cruisers in the Reserve Collection of mininsuits and cabana cabins will have exclusive access to the Reserve Collection Restaurant.

Princess Cruises has not revealed all Sun Princess secrets yet. There are two additional venues, one on deck 17 and another on deck 8, that have yet to be revealed. Even still it seems no matter where cruisers find themselves aboard Sun Princess the dining options will be “delicious and boundless.”
