Princess Cruises Kicking Off 56th Alaska Season

In May, Princess Cruises will kick off its 56th Alaska season with seven ships, five lodges, more cruisetours from which to choose, and the most visits to Glacier Bay National Park. Cruisers can choose from more than 150 cruises departing from convenient five homeports–Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and Anchorage.

“From our welcoming crew to our inviting partners at the national parks and award-winning ‘North to Alaska’ program, we are ready to begin our highly anticipated 2025 season,” said Gus Antorcha, Princess Cruises president. “We know our guests can’t wait to experience their perfect Alaska vacation, meticulously planning what they will do onboard and ashore. Our 2025 season is packed with incredible offerings to ensure they leave having had amazing experiences, big adventures and lasting memories to cherish forever.”

Cruisers will find two new itineraries featuring glaciers and less-visited ports of call. Embarking May 6, 2025, Grand Princess will sail a 17-day roundtrip “Ultimate Alaska” voyage from Seattle. She will visit 10 ports as well as Hubbard Glacier, College Fjord and Glacier Bay National Park. Ruby Princess will sail a 22-day roundtrip “Ultimate Alaska Solstice” voyage from San Francisco. Embarking June 6, 2025, the voyage coincides with Summer Solstice, features 11 ports and 4 glaciers–Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier, Hubbard Glacier, College Fjord and Glacier Bay National Park.

Coral Princess, Caribbean Princess and Sapphire Princess will sail 7- to 14-day “Voyage of the Glaciers” itineraries that allow cruisers to visit Glacier Bay, Hubbard Glacier and call on Skagway, Ketchikan and Juneau. Additionally, cruisers can add a cruisetour and explore the interior of Alaska and Denali National Park. Departure ports are Vancouver and Anchorage.

Also new for 2025, the ships will host a nightly pop-up experience of an Alaskan pub, Northern Lights Lounge. The experience will feature a folk and country guitar vocalist, and cruisers can try local beers and liquors. Younger cruisers can enjoy hot cocoa, popcorn and cookies.
