Princess Cruises’ Diamond Princess officially embarked on its Singapore season this week after arriving from Japan.
Diamond Princess’ Singapore itineraries include two 10- to 14-day cruises from December 2023 to March 2024.
Her current itinerary is a 10 day, round-trip Thailand Vietnam cruise with a Christmas theme. She departed Singapore on December 16, 2023, with ports of call in Koh Samui Island and Laem Chabang, Bangkok in Thailand along Da Nang, Hue; and Saigaon, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. Passengers will spend Christmas Eve celebrating in Koh Samui Island, Thailand and Christmas Day at sea. Diamond Princess will embark on the same itinerary on December 26, 2023, with passengers celebrating New Year’s Eve in Saigon, Ho Chi MInh City, Vietnam.
January and February 2024 will see Diamond Princess sailing two 14-day round-trip cruises visiting Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Passengers will travel along Straits of Melaka visiting ports of call in Phuket, Thailand, Langkawi, Penang and Klang in Malaysia. She will then sail the South China Sea and call on Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam along with Bangkok and Koh Samui Island in Thailand before returning to Singapore for disembarkation.
Diamond Princess will sail an identical itinerary departing February 6, 2024, but will have the added opportunity to celebrate Chinese New Year, the start of the Year of the Dragon, on February 10 and 11 while in Penang and Port Klang in Malaysia. Valentine’s Day will find passengers at Nha Trang.
Diamond Princess will sail a 13-day repositioning cruise from Singapore to Yokohama, Japan on March 5, 2024. She will arrive in Japan on March 18, 2024 to begin her Japan 2024 season, just in time for the country’s cherry blossom season. Diamond Princess will sail round-trip itineraries in Japan through August 2024. She will call on 35 destinations in three countries on 31 itineraries with 36 departure dates.
Diamond Princess will not be the only Princess Cruise ship in Singapore in 2024 and 2025. In October 2024, Coral Princess will sail a 33-day Southeast Asia, Hawaii and Pacific Crossing cruise from Singapore to Los Angeles, and on February 29, 2024, Island Princess will visit Singapore during her World Cruise.
