Princess Cruises announced a first-ever, week-long magical experience aboard Discovery Princess to depart October 7, 2023.
The “Magic Castle Conjurer’s Cruise” will partner two California icons—Princess Cruises and Hollywood’s world famous Magic Castle. Magic Castle has been known for 60 years as the “mecca of magic and the legendary home to the Academy of Magical Arts.”
Princess Cruises and Magic Castle will work together to bring the Magic Castle mission to the high seas. This seven day roundtrip magic themed cruise departs from Los Angeles on October 7, 2023, will feature day-long ports of call in San Francisco, San Diego, and Ensenada, Mexico, before returning to Los Angeles on October 14, 2023.
“Magic Castle Conjurer’s Cruise” will feature unique magic-themed events and activities. Guests will be treated to performances by top magicians in the Princess Theater and in popular areas such as the Piazza throughout the ship. Guests will also be able to sit in on lectures and magic workshops.
There will be a “Taste of Magic” which is a fun event which offers magical cocktails and a “Magic of Cooking” demonstration for foodies. Included in that will be Magic Castle themed cocktail parties, dinners and brunches to enjoy. Guests can finish out their day with a magic-themed film poolside at the ship’s outdoor Movies Under the Stars.
The founding family of The Magic Castle will be onboard with a specially curated historical presentation. Attendees will hear firsthand how the Magic Castle was established and why it is still so popular today. Additionally, the ship will have some of the artifacts from Magic Castle’s collection on display.
