Port Everglades to Welcome Five New Ships in 2024

Port Everglades, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has announced more cruise options for the 2024 summer season for cruisers to enjoy. 

Port Everglades, the third busiest cruise ship in the world, behind Port Canaveral and Port of Miami respectively, will be the homeport for five new cruise ships during the 2024 summer season. The port will host ships from Celebrity Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean International. 

Ships calling Port Everglades home will be Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas, the new Celebrity Beyond and Enchanted Princess, along with Celebrity Reflection and Disney Magic.

“We have been extremely successful in meeting the cruising public’s expectations by attracting ultra-high-luxury and premier brands, further developing our summer offerings, and expanding popular short cruise options,” said Jonathan Daniels, CEO and port director. “These new additions to our summer 2024 portfolio are a direct result of us putting the customer experience first.”

Freedom of the Seas will offer six- and seven-night Caribbean itineraries along with a Perfect Day at CocoCay. Enchanted Princess will be offering seven-, ten-, and fourteen-night itineraries Caribbean itineraries that include its private island, Princess Cays.

Celebrity Beyond will offer a variety of six- and eight-night Caribbean itineraries to include Grand Cayman, The Bahamas, Mexico, Aruba, Bonaire along with a Perfect Day at CocoCay. Celebrity Reflection will be sailing three- and four-night weekend itineraries to Bimini and Key West along with a Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Disney Magic will be sailing three-, four- and five-night Bahamian and Caribbean itineraries that include Lighthouse Point, Disney Cruise Line’s new private destination, or Castaway Cay, Disney Cruise Line’s private island. Five cruises will actually stop at both private destinations.

Port Everglades is currently home to Celebrity Equinox, Caribbean Princess and Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas for the 2023 summer season.
