Oasis of the Seas Features Pop Up Holiday Shop

Through January 7, 2023, guests onboard Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas through will find the first-ever holiday marketplace aboard a Royal Caribbean International Ship.

The Oasis Holiday Marketplace is found on Deck 8 and was inspired by Europe’s holiday markets in partnership with Starboard Cruise Services. Guests will find Christmas ornaments, holiday apparel, toys, home decor or even the perfect souvenir to forever remember their holiday cruise.

Not only will cruisers find shopping, but also the big man himself–Santa Claus! Santa will be available for photos and to hear what cruisers want for Christmas. Although Santa knows cruisers always want another cruise.

“The Oasis Holiday Marketplace is a terrific example of Starboard’s passion for ‘retailtainment’, offering families onboard engaging shopping experiences during magical holiday sailings,” says Claudia King-McWilliams, VP General Manager of Royal Caribbean.

The Oasis Holiday Marketplace is a limited time only shop and currently only found onboard Oasis of the Seas. If the concept is successful, it is possible it will be found on additional future holiday cruises and on other ships.

Oasis of the Seas, the first Oasis Class ship, is currently homeported from Miami, Florida and offering a variety of Western and Southern Caribbean sailings. Measuring over 226,000 gross tons and 1,187 feet long, she is one of the largest cruise ships at sea and filled with family-friendly activities.

Oasis of the Seas departed from PortMiami yesterday, December 22, 2023, on a 7-night Western Caribbean Christmas cruise to Falmouth, Jamaica; Labadee, Haiti; Nassau, Bahamas; and Perfect Day at CocoCay. With the Oasis Holiday Marketplace, guests can use the cruise to finish their last minute holiday shopping.

After returning to PortMiami on December 29, 2023, Oasis of the Seas will sail a 9-night Southern Caribbean New Year’s cruise to Perfect Day at CocoCay; Willemstad, Curacao; Oranjestad, Aruba; and Falmouth, Jamaica.

These are the only two cruises that will feature the Oasis Holiday Marketplace this year.
