Norwegian Cruise Line Debuting Four New Shows

Norwegian Cruise Line is debuting four brand-new and original entertainment productions across nine ships–Norwegian Breakaway, Encore, Epic, Escape, Gem, Getaway, Jewel, Joy and Prima.

The four shows–”Red, White & British,” “Bring Back the 90s,” “ICONS: The Bands,” and “Ignite the Night”–were created in Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ Creative Studios and are sure to appeal to guests of all multiple generations. The shows were created based on guest feedback and focus on the company’s new brand promise of “more to see, more to do and more to enjoy.”

“NCL has long set the standard for the finest entertainment at sea, with world-class productions and top-tier talent,” said Bryan A. White, vice president of Entertainment Production for Norwegian Cruise Line. “We’re excited to further enhance our guests’ cruising experience by introducing even more exclusive original productions and offering a wider range of entertainment options across our fleet. These innovative shows, exclusively available onboard our ships, reflect our commitment to delivering unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experiences that elevate every aspect of our guests’ journey with NCL.”

Two of the shows, “Bring Back the 90s” and “Ignite the Night,” are already onboard Norwegian ships. “Bring Back the 90s” debuted on Norwegian Getaway on March 2, 2025. The show–a nostalgic “Alice in Wonderland” inspired journey–features iconic moments and songs from artists of the 90s including Alanis Morissette, Salt-N-Pepa and Destiny’s Child. The 50-minute show features 90s fashion, pop culture, music, trends, dance, vocals and media. The show will debut onboard Norwegian Joy during her Alaska sailing from Seattle in July.

“Ignite the Night” debuted aboard Norwegian Jewel on March 2, 2025. The high-energy show, choreographed by “Dancing with the Stars” celebrity Britt Stewart, blends television’s top award shows and red carpet events. The show will also debut on Norwegian Gem’s Canada and New England cruise from Quebec City in September 2025.

British tribute show, “Red, White & British” will debut on March 14, 2025, aboard Norwegian Breakaway’s 14-night voyage from Southampton to Barcelona. The show will feature the music of iconic British artists like David Bowie and Queen. The show will also premier on Norwegian Prima’s Northern Europe voyage in August 2025.

“ICONS: The Bands” will debut aboard Norwegian Encore during her March 30, 2025, Panama Canal voyage. The show will feature a nine-person cast of the cruise line’s popular show, “Choir of Man,” and will pay tribute to some of the greatest bands of all time. The show will also premier on May 25, 2025, when Norwegian Escape sails to the Caribbean from PortMiami.

Additionally, Norwegian Cruise Line will surprise guests with “Mini Moments of More”–flash mob performances throughout the ship’s public spaces. These new shows and “mini moments” will eventually debut across the cruise line’s entire fleet of 19 ships.
