NCL’s Norwegian Star Ready to Sail South America

Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Star is in South America to commence her 2023-24 itineraries in the region. She had been sailing her summer program in Northern Europe before arriving in Brazil earlier this month.

Norwegian Star will sail four 14-day round-trip South America: Argentina & Chile itineraries on January 7, January 21, February 4, and February 18, 2024. She will embark from Buenos Aires, Argentina with ports of call in Montevideo, Uruguay; Puerto Madryn, Argentina; Punta Arenas, Chile; Ushuaia, Argentina, and; Stanley, Falkland Islands. The itinerary also includes cruising Paradise Bay and Elephant Island in Antarctica before returning to Buenos Aires. This cruise is the cruise to be on if you are a penguin and nature enthusiasts.

In March, Norwegian Star will sail two different South America itineraries: Chile & Falkland Islands from Santiago, Chile, and Argentina from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

South America: Chile & Falkland Islands is a 14-day cruise with 9 ports of call that cruises the Patagonic Channels, Chilean Fjords & Strait of Magellan. Guests will also be treated to the “March of the Penguins” in the Falkland Islands. Norwegian Star will embark on March 17, 2024 from Santiago, Chile. Ports of call are in Puerto Montt, Chile; Puerto Chacabuco, Chile; Punta Arenas, Chile; Ushuaia, Argentina; Cape Horn, Chile; Stanley, Falkland Islands; Puerto Madryn, Argentina; Montevideo, Uruguay; and disembark in Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 31, 2024. 

South America: Argentina is a 10-day cruise with 9 ports of call that includes an overnight stay in Buenos Aires, the birthplace of the tango. Embarking March 31, 2024 from Buenos Aires, Argentina, the itinerary includes ports of call in Montevideo and Punta del Este, Uruguay; Balneário, São Paulo, Ilhabela, Ilha Grande, and Búzios, Brazil. Guests will disembark on April 10, 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Christ the Redeemer. Guests can explore a winery in Uruguay, visit an island of waterfalls on Ilhabela, or a land of beaches in Búzios.
