MSC Cruises Expanding its US Presence

MSC Cruises will expand its presence in the United States when it deploys MSC Seascape, one of its newest and most environmentally friendly vessels, to the Port of Galveston.

Beginning November 9, 2025, MSC Seascape will offer 7-night Western Caribbean itineraries from the Port of Galveston with ports of call to Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico and Isla de Roatan in Honduras. The cruise line will offer immersive shore excursions like tours of the ancient Mayan Ruins, shipwreck snorkeling, glass bottom boat rides and museum tours.

MSC Seascape is an innovative vessel that offers a family-friendly experience. She houses 7,500 square feet of space dedicated to kids and cutting-edge amusement options. Families will have multiple days at sea to enjoy the ship’s amenities like the state-of-the-art ROBOTRON robotic arm ride, two LEGO rooms, three spaces for teens, a VR 360o Flight Simulator, VR motorcycles, and the MSC Formula Racer. Additionally, guests can enjoy the six fantastic theater productions she offers.

MSC Seascape offers 12 different types of suites and staterooms with balconies, 11 dining venues, and 19 bars and lounges. She has six different pools including an aft infinity pool with incredible ocean views for her guests. Her 1,772 foot long waterfront promenade puts guests even closer to the ocean and her distinctive glass-floored Bridge of Sighs on Deck 16 offers a unique view of the sea.

MSC Seascape is currently homeported from Miami, Florida and offering Caribbean and Bahamian itineraries that call on the cruise line’s private island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
