Margaritaville at Sea Paradise to Receive Upgrades During Dry Dock

Margaritaville at Sea Paradise will undergo a multimillion-dollar dry dock beginning May 21, 2023.

The 32 year old ship entered service with Margaritaville at Sea just a year ago but these renovations are sure to give the ship a completely new vibe. The changes are based on operational needs, general maintenance and guest feedback.

“We’ve been listening to our friends and fans and have invested in the kinds of new offerings passengers said will best enhance their sailing experience,” said Kevin Sheehan, Jr., president and CEO of Margaritaville at Sea. “The venues we’ve added and enhancements we’ve made are going to take our experience to the next level and will surprise and delight new guests and returning cruisers alike.”

New upgrades include:

  • Paradise Pickleball at Sea: A regulation pickleball court with an outdoor lounge space where guests can watch and cheer.
  • Keys on the Water Dueling Piano Bar: A new venue for evening entertainment and craft cocktails.
  • Stars on the Water Production Shows: Two new theater shows, the Caribbean Heat, which includes dance and acrobatics, and Radio Margaritaville: LIVE! At Sea, which features live music and storytelling.
  • Cheeseburger in Paradise Burger Bar: A new food venue at 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill that will offer fresh beef customizable burgers.

There will also be upgrades made to the ship’s main dining room, Fins. The space will be upgraded as well as the menu. The Fins Up! Fitness Center is adding state-of-the-art equipment, and the Fin City Arcade is adding new games, The Jolly Mon Kid’s Club and Parakeets Kid’s Club spaces are being refreshed for the younger cruises as well.

Not only is Margaritaville at Sea making upgrades to the ship, but they are also upgrading the off ship experiences offered to its cruisers. Some of the new shore excursions offered include the Ultimate Party Boat and Snorkeling Experience as well as Grand Bahama Cycling Adventure.

To mark the occasion, the cruise line is offering a BOGO special for its 3-day, 2-night cruise from Palm Beach, Florida to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island. And they always offer special rates for college students, solo travelers and our “heroes”—veterans and active duty military, first responders, law enforcement and educators.
