Holland America Line’s Noordam Sailing Down Under

Holland America Line has opened bookings for its vacations to the Land Down Under sailing from November 2025 to March 2026. Holland America Line’s Noordam will deploy to the South Pacific to sail between Sydney, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand where guests can enjoy diverse landscapes and unique cultures. 

Noordam will be sailing 14-day itineraries between Australia and New Zealand visiting the best destinations in the region along with the cruise line’s award-winning service while onboard. Guests can also combine a 14-day cruise with an epic Legendary Voyage to the South Pacific creating a vacation of up to 50 days in the region. 

“Australia and New Zealand are excellent options for cruisers looking for global destinations, iconic cities and wild wonders,” said Beth Bodensteiner, Holland America Line’s chief commercial officer. “We craft our cruises to showcase the best of each region. With these voyages, guests can immerse themselves in New Zealand in a port-intensive itinerary that also features scenic cruising through Milford Sound, or they can see wildlife like penguins and kangaroos while exploring South Australia.”

The “Australia and New Zealand” itineraries are 14-days between Sydney and Auckland in November 2025 and in February and March 2026. The sailings feature ports of call in Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand.

The “New Zealand Discovery” itinerary is a 14-day roundtrip sailing from Sydney and departs December 7, 2025. If features the New Zealand ports of Auckland, Waitangi, Tauranga, Gisborne, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers.

The “South Australia Discover Holiday” departs on December 21, 2024 and sails roundtrip from Sydney. Ports of call include Melbourne, Phillip Island, Eden, Adelaide and Penneshaw, Australia; Burnie, Port Arthur and Hobart, Tasmania.

All cruises that visit New Zealand will also include cruising the Milford Sound within Fiordland National Park.

Noordam will sail five Collectors’ Voyages combining back-to-back itineraries ranging from 28 to 50 days. They will merge two 14-day Australia and New Zealand cruises or a 14-day Australia and New Zealand cruise with a Legendary Voyage to the South Pacific.

Guests of the Noordam will also experience Holland America Line’s Global Fresh Fish Program which brings native fish and local ingredients on board. Local specialties include New Zealand green-lipped mussels, Tasmania Atlantic salmon, Sydney rock oysters and Tasmania meat pies.
