Holland America Line Partners With AARP

AARP members are now eligible to receive a member-only onboard credit when sailing with Carnival-owned Holland America Line. 

The cruise line announced in a press release that AARP members will receive an onboard credit that can be used for various amenities such as shore excursions, spa services, beverages, specialty dining, gift shop purchases and more. The offer can be used on the majority of sailings, be combined with other offers and ranges from $50 to $200 per stateroom based on the type of stateroom and length of the sailing. 

The cruise line’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kacy Cole, said, “Holland America Line is thrilled to extend this offer to AARP members, who are avid travelers and a key demographic for our brand. We look forward to enticing AARP members to join us for a cruise to one of the many incredible destinations we explore.”

Holland America Line sails to many destinations including Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Europe, Mediterranean, Mexico, and South America. The cruise line is known for its Alaskan cruises where it has sailed for more than 75 years—longer than any other cruise line. 

“Holland America Line cruises open the world to AARP members, allowing them to visit other regions and experience different cultures with ease and comfort,” said Victoria Borton, Vice President, lifestyle product and services, AARP Services. “Members appreciate the cruising experience and level of premium service that’s synonymous with Holland America Line.”

While the majority of cruises are available to AARP members for this special offer Grand Voyages, Grand Voyages segments and voyages less than five days are excluded. Everything else from a weeklong getaway to “Legendary Voyages” are eligible for the offer which can be combined with the cruise line’s Have It All premium package of amenities.
