Disney Cruise Line Announces 2024 Holiday Cruises

Disney Cruise Line has announced its Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime Cruises for 2024.

Halloween on the High Seas begins mid-September and continues through October 2024. These cruises, sailing out of Florida, will offer families the opportunity to “dress up and join Disney characters in their Halloween costumes; dance the night away at a spooky celebration on the upper decks; enjoy spinetingling themed food and beverages; and immerse themselves in a ghostly ship takeover with elaborate décor and a magical Pumpkin Tree.”

The largest Disney ship, Disney Wish, will sail three- and four-night frightfully fun Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral, while Disney Fantasy will offer four-, six-, and seven-night spooky cruises that sail the Bahamas and Caribbean. Sailing from Fort Lauderdale, Disney Magic will offer three- to five-night ghoulish itineraries in the Bahamas and Caribbean.

Very Merrytime Cruises begins mid-November and continues through December 2024. These cruises, sailing out of Florida and Texas, will showcase the holidays as the Disney Cruise Line fleet is “decked from bow to stern with holiday cheer and entertainment.”  Families will find holiday magic with their favorite characters dressed in their finest holiday attire, themed activities that are merry and bright, and celebrations filled with holiday spirit.

These magical holiday getaways will sail out of both homeports in Florida and Texas. Disney Wish will be sailing out of Port Canaveral and offer three- and four-night Bahamian Very Merrytime voyages, while Disney Dream will be sailing out of Fort Lauderdale and offer four- and five-night voyages to the Bahamas and Caribbean. Disney Fantasy will offer four-night Very Merrytime voyages to the Bahamas, as well as longer six- and seven-night itineraries in November and December.

Disney Magic will embark from Galveston and offer cheerful four- to six-night voyages throughout tropical ports in the Caribbean.

Guests aboard Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy during select holiday cruises will have the opportunity to discover the fun and relax at Disney Cruise Line’s newest destination, Lighthouse Point. Lighthouse Point is located on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.

In addition to these festively themed cruises, Disney Cruise Line is offering “bucket-list” itineraries in September 2024. Disney Wonder will sail from Vancouver, Canada to Honolulu, Hawaii with stops on the islands of Kauai, Maui and Hawaii before arriving in Oahu. She will then embark on a transpacific cruise to Sydney, Australia. Families will voyage through the South Pacific and visit Fiji, American Somoa and New Caledonia. Disney Wonder will then sail its second season in Australia and New Zealand.

Bookings open to the public on June 26, 2023.
