Royal Caribbean International announced its Ovation of the Seas will sail from Singapore between October 2025 and March 2026. The itineraries will be mostly 3-night Penang Cruises and 4-night Penang & Phuket Cruises. She will also sail a 5-night Singapore to Hong Kong cruise as well as a 5-night Penang & Phuket Cruise featuring an overnight in Phuket. Additionally, Ovation will sail an 8-night Bali Adventure Holiday Cruise from Singapore on December 28, 2025.
Margaritaville at Sea Islander is on her way across the Atlantic to Port Tampa Bay. She will be christened by the late Jimmy Buffet’s eldest daughter, Savannah Buffet, before her inaugural sailing on June 14, 2024.
Carnival Cruise Line has revealed more details about its new private destination, Celebration Key. Starfish Lagoon promises to be a family-friendly “tropical playground in paradise” designed for children of all ages, and their parents. Starfish Lagoon is the fourth portal to be revealed, joining Paradise Plaza, Calypso Lagoon, and Lokono Cover. Details on the fifth portal–an adults-only retreat–will be revealed soon.
Norwegian Cruise Line will be offering 85 voyages across Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand between September 2024 and March 2026. The cruise line will sail 30 new itineraries from 15 departure ports calling on over 60 destinations on new-to-the-region ships–Norwegian Spirit, Sun and Sky. NCL will also offer Cruisetours in Auckland, Taipei, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney for those cruisers who wish to extend their vacation on land.
World-renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will headline the upcoming christening of Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne. Famous for his success as a crossover artist bringing opera and pop together, Bocelli will be joined by some of Liverpool’s best entertainment including the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and musicians from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
Nine MSC ships will sail a variety of Mediterranean itineraries for the summer season. The ships include MSC Fantasia, MSC Seaside, MSC Seaview, MSC World Europa, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Musica, MSC Poesia, MSC Orchestra and MSC Divina. The itineraries will call on Valencia, Barcelona, Ibiza and Cádiz in Spain, Livorno, Palermo and Naples in Italy and Cannes, France.
